Born in 1974 in Latvia, one of the 15 Soviet Union Republics, he studies music and plays the piano during his childhood and teenage years. Classical instruments and music history taught at the music academy are the only available subjects in this still communist period. Rock and many other public expression types of music do not officially exist as a genre in the USSR. But borders are getting more and more permeable and already in 1986 it is possible to get copies of western music, still banned by the omnipresent regime. Shops where one can find pirated copies are sprouting up, enabling Andrei to discover the sound and power of mythical western bands. He quickly develops a passion for electric guitar .

In 1989, the country enters the last phase of its deep and long agony and on the ruins of the past he creates his first rock band « MVVA » and performs on stage, playing for several events. In 1990, the band records its first and last album « your luck ».

In 1991, after the fall of the communist empire, his family has to leave the Latvian territory because of its racial origin. He moves to Moscow where he sets up his second band « Planer » in 1993. A repertoire made up of about 15 titles enables the band to tour in the Moscow suburb, where it is rewarded with a few awards for young talents. But this doesn’t cover all the recording costs of a real album – not to mention its promotion costs. In the meantime, the troubled situation prevailing at that time prevents the emergence of any artistic expression. The violent – and sometimes bloody – sharing of the audiovisual world discourages many musicians to continue in this uncertain path, and this is precisely the case for the band.

After self-producing the last LP, the band dissolves itself in 1999.

After a year of introspection and thought, natural curiosity and the urge to see things change take over, taking him to Europe where in 2000 he settles in his heart: in Paris. But the joy of the beginner soon transforms into despair. Lonely, unknown, « voiceless », lost in this cold and hostile capital city, he tries hard to make up a living. To continue playing music has become out of question, besides, he has sold all his musical equipment in order to get some money.

At the end of 2004, « things » are going much better and he can afford an electric guitar and an amplifier. The three following years are dedicated to setting up a home studio as well as learning how to use it. In the meantime he has composed a new repertoire. The new project, this called « Undetermined Nation », takes shape, leading to the auto-production of a first maxi in French called « En Deux Dimensions » (in two dimensions), in 2007.

A second auto-production, in English this time, is released in august 2008. The LP « Schizophrenic » is written, arranged, interpreted, recorded and mixed by only one person. It includes all the experience gathered over the previous years, while letting some space for the coming years.
